If you’re a resourceful individual looking to grow your career and salary, we are looking for you.  Churchill McGee, LLC, a general contractor specializing in commercial construction with a concrete division, has an immediate opening for a Concrete Foreman to join our expanding work in the Central Kentucky area.

We are looking for a motivated, hardworking team player with a strong background in concrete work who wants to establish a long-term, reliable career with a growing company.

The Concrete Forman will be responsible for enabling the completion of jobs in a timely manner by scheduling and overseeing the work crew, ensuring equipment and materials are enough, repairing and maintaining, training crews and assisting with special projects as assigned. Types of work this position will be responsible for are the following, but not limited to, are concrete footings, piers, walls, slabs, sidewalks, paving and curbs. Reading blue prints and survey stakes to obtain direction and elevations of concrete items is required. Be able to safely operate equipment and beware of surrounding personnel and structures. Make sound judgements regarding weather and existing conditions prior to pouring concrete.

Qualifications:
- Five (5) years’ experience in similar position/industry
- Understand and execute the Owner contract, work plans, addenda, and specifications
- Follow all OSHA guidelines
- OSHA 10 hour
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate the competencies of achieving results, communication, collaboration, and building teamwork
- Be able to operate small and large equipment
- Accomplish task with minimal supervision

Other Requirements:
- Be able to pass drug test
- Travel required
- Valid driver license
- Work primarily outdoors, occasionally indoors, in all types of weather conditions/environments
- Check all deliveries for quantities
- Understanding of how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
- Challenge others to develop as leaders while serving as a role model and mentor
- Daily check-ins with Project Manager
- Schedule and have appropriate manpower for week
- Have small hand tools as required
- Keep and turn in time sheets weekly for employees
- Ensure proper materials, tools and equipment are on site to perform work required
- Attend subcontractor meetings as required
- Attend Monday weekly meetings
- Ensure compliance with jobsite safety/communications board
- Be responsible for personnel on site. These duties include personnel safety, work to be performed and coordination with other subcontractors’ work
- Inform Project Manager if witness to any unsafe conditions or unsafe subcontractor activities
